Mark Sibley is one of our more established members/performers from our Risca group and has been working with Theatr Ffynnon for over 8 years. Mark is one of the performers in TF’s dance/movement project “Metamorfoza” which premiered Larvae at Chapter Arts Centre July 2015. Mark has performed in a number of our theatre productions, including “House for Sale” (2013) and Pieces of Hate (2012).
Mark is an active volunteer with the Royal Gwent Hospital, and attends college at Oxford House in Risca where he is an assistant supporting new students. We are getting ready here at Theatr Ffynnon for our rehearsals with Director Kevin Lewis which starts on the 9th of November for “The Unique Me”.

Following yesterday’s decision by the Arts Council of Wales to withdraw its revenue funding, Theatr Ffynnon has reiterated its commitment to producing high quality work involving people with learning disabilities and mental health and has welcomed the Arts Council’s offer, to find other ways of helping support Theatr Ffynnon’s artistic programme and vision.

Our Abergavenny members are currently working with Kevin Lewis, our Creative Associate, on exploring our genealogy and what makes us, a ‘Unique Me’. So far he has been using props and improvisation with the members, to develop ideas about ourselves and our family tree.
